Ladies and Gents, we have some very exciting news to share with you all today! News that will most certainly prick the ears of all brides and grooms to be!

Most Curious Wedding Fair, the coolest and most iconic indie wedding fair this little Island of ours has to offer, is finally taking over the creative wedding streets of the north with their first ever show in Manchester on 29th February 2020. But that’s not the exciting news we have to share with you – oh no!! The news is that the show will be taking place at an exciting new venue which offers a space that is both innovative, unique and inspiring – the perfect place then for a show like Most Curious.

We are very excited to announce that the Depot at Mayfield, a new multi-use cultural venue for the city of Manchester, will be the home to the North’s first ever Most Curious event and we can’t wait to see what the MC design team has in store for this exciting new space.

Becky, the very talented lady behind Most Curious, has all the details of this exciting new venue and the plans they have for what is promising to be the biggest style-driven show in the North, ever!

MOST CURIOUS CAN NOW REVEAL THE EXCITING NEW VENUE DEPOT AT MAYFIELD WILL BE THE HOME OF ITS NEW 2020 MANCHESTER LOCATION!

MOST CURIOUS, the wedding show for the style-savvy couple, is delighted to announce we are not only holding a brand new Northern show in Manchester, but it will be at the city’s coolest new venue, Depot at Mayfield.

We are super happy to also be revealing this
final piece of the MOST CURIOUS 2020 launch, with our sponsor Festival Brides,
who definitely appreciate a good venue, that has exposed brickwork and beams,
plenty of potential for festoon lighting and a little edge to it.

Depot at Mayfield is the 10,000 capacity venue for culture located at the historic
former railway Mayfield, with max industrial and urban feel. Most Curious will be held in Archive – a
more intimate space housed in the three railway arches, don’t worry we haven’t
got the entire 10,000 capacity! But it’s no small or even medium event, we do
have space for over 80 inspirational exhibitors, as well as a bar, fashion
happenings and the type of knock out installations Most Curious has become
known for, making us the biggest style-driven show in the North!

Part of a £1billion regeneration project for
the city, Depot at Mayfield has been developed to provide a platform for a
diverse programme of arts, music, industry, culture and community events in a
unique found space showcasing Manchester’s industrial past. And Most Curious is
humbled, honoured and jump up and down excited to part of it!

We knew it was the venue for us. We searched high and low around Manchester, physically and online, and were drawing a blank on finding the perfect type of space that would bring the size and style of Most Curious cool that we felt fit with the brand and feel we had created in our other UK locations. In a moment of synchronicity, we had our first ever day in our new desk space at Ann-Marie Faulkner’s studio back in May, where listening to 6 music is the order of the day, something founder Becky would never get a chance to do at home looking after babies or working in cafes and community spaces! An advert for the new Warehouse Project came on the radio, citing Depot at Mayfield as the flagship, exciting new venue on the project’s line up. Our ear’s pricked up and the rest is history. Cat and Becky went to visit and were in slight awe and overwhelm of the vast and amazing over all event space but when stepping into the venue’s Archive arches… we just got that, this is it, feeling.

The Manchester applications are open until the 8th November, but the team can assure you over 100 pretty impressive and wonderful people have applied to be involved already!

This pair up with Depot at Mayfield has set the
wheels in motion from the get-go for Most Curious to arrive with a bang, ready
to bring next level inspiration to couples of the North with exhibitors local
to Manchester and beyond. Some of the Most Curious London exhibitor crew will
be spreading their wings and exhibiting with us here too, to reach the coolest
couples of the region, such as The Work Bench, Doris Loves and Lee Garland
Photography. But for the most part the show will be representative of the creme
de la creme of wonderful, creative Northern talent that will be given the opportunity
to shine on the Most Curious platform.
